Hello Friends of IDEO.org,

We’re excited to announce that the application period for our third class of IDEO.org Fellows has begun! We've set a very high bar for our Fellows over the last two years and we need your help to find our next design and social sector leaders for the Class of 2013-14.

In case you’re not familiar with the program, here’s a bit more info: The IDEO.org Fellowship Program fosters design leaders of the future. Basically, it’s a mash-up of wildly passionate and talented people from the design, business and social sectors: three IDEO designers and a collection of promising leaders from around the globe. For 13 months, these Fellows are working, learning, growing, and innovating to make the world a better place.

This year, we are offering two different application tracks for designers and social sector rock stars to play to their different strengths. Not sure where you fit in? We get that. Just pick one track and explain in your cover letter or visual story why both roles seem applicable. Applications are due January 3, 2013 at 5:00 pm PST.

IDEO.org is a nonprofit design and innovation organization focused on solving challenges in poverty and spreading human-centered design through the social sector. Human-centered design enables organizations to create and deliver innovative solutions to pressing challenges that are rooted in the needs of people. IDEO.org works directly with organizations on projects using the human-centered design process across a wide range of focus areas related to poverty, including health, financial services, gender equity, water and sanitation.
