Dear Isha,

Thank you for expressing interest in the Advanced Diploma. It would be great if you can attend! Unfortunately we do not offer scholarships for this course so each participant needs to find their own funding. Perhaps you can find sponsorship at home.

Hope this is helpful,

David

Hi Isha,
Can you please specify that, which kind of reconstruction you meant here, and there are # housing construction initiated and trouma healing of the war victims happening, I feel it is good if support the government to speed up the proces. Some thing is better than nothing.
Why don't you try with American Center in Sri Lanka for fundings, you will gain what you deserve.

Thanks. Construction of housing mostly handle by the government of SL for IDP Resettlers. we do Conflict and peace building programs among the Local NGO's CBO and Educational sector . DEMAND IS VERY HIGH BUT LACKING OF FUNDS FOR 2010.
I will definitely try American center on this. We are indeed in the process of the speed up. But as I told u SL is lack of knowledge on Reconciliation process .
we do not have Trainers and facilitators much.

Hi David
This looks like a great programme. It is a shame that the steep course fee (as well as flight and accommodation costs etc) will exclude those who most need to attend.
All the best,

Dear Dr David Connolly,

Thank you for the invitation to participate in the course on "Post-war Reconstruction and Development" which you will be organizing in partnership with the Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI). I will be glad if your organization could consider running this same programme online to enable a cross-section of us have the opportunity to participate since scholarships have become too scarce these days to find.

Once again, thank you for the information.
