What is the Carl Wilkens Fellowship?

Seeking to bridge the gap between thought and action in the anti-genocide movement, the Carl Wilkens Fellowship is a selective, 12-month program that provides a diverse set of emerging citizen leaders with the tools and training to build sustained political will to end genocide.

Who is part of the inaugural class - where are they from?

Our inaugural class brought together individuals from Los Angeles, CA, Terre Haute, IN, Ramsey, NJ, Miami, FL and more . . .

These activists are corporate lawyers, IT specialists, professors, museum-based educators, filmmakers, heath professionals, and therapists.

What have these individuals done to build political will for the anti-genocide movement?

In just five months, these 20 remarkable individuals have:

- Organized over 218 meetings, events, and presentations in their communities;
- Made over 90 calls to Congressional offices;
- Written or signed on to 570 letters to their members of Congress;
- Held over 33 lobbying meetings; and
- Raised over $15,000 for GI-NET.
