CALL FOR PROPOSALS
Have you implemented a policy or program which benefits young people? Do you want your initiative recognized, disseminated or replicated in other countries?
International, and public and private sector institutions and organizations are looking to increase the impact of effective initiatives which are having a real and positive effect on young people throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. This initiative is targeted to youth organizations (governmental, non-profit, citizen sector organizations) that develop policies or programs for youth in the following areas: Education, Employment, Sexual and Reproductive Health, Violence prevention, Fight against Poverty, Volunteer Service, Youth Participation, Comprehensive Youth Development (cross-sector approaches).
Among other requirements, the initiatives should already be implemented and able to share lessons and achievements. The selected practices will be presented in an international seminar in Mexico in September 2009; organizations responsible for their implementation will be invited. The practices will also be widely disseminated through an international publication. Proposals will be accepted until May 26, 2009.
