Event Description

Join us for a special informational event in recognition of Anti-Trafficking Month and the recent launch of our National Hotline Campaign.


This will be an opportunity to learn about human trafficking in the DC area and what we as a community can do to help stop it.

Karen from Polaris will talk about trafficking in DC and tell stories from the National Hotline.

Maria from our group will present an overview of human trafficking in DC.

Ray Lian, Lead Organizer, will speak about our September activities

Homemade hors d'ouvres will be served!!

Meetup Location:

This month's meeting will be at the beautifully landscaped Rooftop of The Ellington Apartments. The Ellington is located at 1301 U St. NW, WDC 20009 (on U St. between 13th & 14th), one block from the "U St/African-Amer Civil War Memorial" Metro Station (Green & Yellow Line). The entrance is next to a Maggie Moos.

If it rains, we will go to the entertainment room on the 1st floor.

The front desk will direct you to the right place once you arrive.
