Sport in Post-Disaster Intervention

ICSSPE's 2008 edition of Sport in Post-Disaster Intervention seminar, will occur from November 1-7, in Rheinsberg, Germany.

Disasters such as Cyclone Nagris in Myanmar or the recent earthquake in the southwest province of Sichuan, China, can strike a community with devastating results. ICSSPE's Sport in Post-Disaster Intervention seminar helps to provide useful skills for those providing assistance to traumatized communities.

This intensive, hands-on seminar, will provide both a theoretical base, but also practical training for those wanting to learn how to incorporate sport and physical activity into a post-disaster relief plan.

The seminar will occur in Rheinsberg, Germany, at Haus Rheinsberg (www.hausrheinsberg.de).

Participants are also invited to share their projects and experiences in the form of a poster, which will be on display during the seminar.
